About Danielle Alexander

Danielle Alexander started with Good Samaritan Hospice as a family support volunteer over 14 years ago while she was employed with Botetourt County Public Schools. She came to work at Good Sam in June 2012 and holds the title of Community Outreach Coordinator. Danielle has a passion for educating our community on what hospice is and what it is not. By taking the fear out of the word “hospice” Danielle hopes that people will truly understand the benefits of early referrals and the resources that are available, to not only patients, but the entire family. Danielle lives in Botetourt with her husband and has 3 grown children and a 3 year old grandson and 1 year old granddaughter.

About Good Samaritan Hospice

Since 1992, Good Sam has been the only non-profit, community-based hospice serving southwest Virginia. No other local hospice offers you more comprehensive services than Good Sam. We provide the highest quality care with the most options, expertise, support and compassion. Every decision we make is guided by our values and mission, with the goal of providing the best care, not gaining the most profit.

Strauss Hospice House will provide patients and their families with the highest level of hospice services, including the medical, spiritual and emotional support they need during end-of-life care.
