Maria Gabriela Arguello brings over 15 years of leadership experience across the United States and Latin America at the intersection of government, international development, and the nonprofit sector. Her work spans the creation, design, structuring, implementation, and leadership of social protection programs from the ground up, advising global consulting firms, and supporting community-based initiatives that drive sustainable and meaningful impact.
Cultivating meaningful interpersonal relationships across cultures is one of her gifts. As an active member of regional and international networks, she connects, learns, and collaborates with mission-driven changemakers around the world.
As the founder of Uplifting Women by MGA, she designs and leads social impact initiatives that uplift women and advance community-centered change. Through a collaborative co-creation approach, she supports both new and existing programs, facilitating learning spaces that cultivate women’s collective wisdom, lived experience, and leadership.
Guided by compassionate leadership, integrity, and the values of transparency, generosity, respect, responsibility, and authenticity, Maria Gabriela’s work is rooted in creating lasting impact in every initiative, partnership, and life she touches.
She holds a postgraduate degree in International Business from Universidad Americana, a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Culture with a minor in Education, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Clark University.
