How long is my membership active?
Your membership is active for either 1 month or 12 months from the day and moment you joined. However if you joined as a Lifetime member, your membership is active for life.
What are the most important benefits of FemCity?
FemCity Local and Virtual members pay a membership fee (currently $150 USD /yr or $15.99/mo) which includes 24/7 access to our online digital and audio library, business and lifestyle worksheets, a private forum to connect, a directory and e-books. In addition, FemCity members can reserve a spot at each monthly local workshop/gathering and discounted event tickets.

I don’t have a FemCity local community near me. What are my options?
You’ll love our US Virtual or Canada Virtual membership option. Upon joining, choose Us Virtual or Canada Virtual as your city/location. We’ll bring you everything virtually! You’ll get all the same web access -- including access to our Members Only pages on the FemCity site [digital and audio library, worksheet and ebooks], and invitation to attend each weekly live class. In addition, we have a Facebook group for our Members [locally and globally] where we meet post tips, advice, opportunities to connect with members around the world, and inspirational content. I DON’T OWN A BUSINESS, CAN I STILL JOIN FEMCITY?
Absolutely! Many of our members are not in business nor are they entrepreneurs. FemCity is for women looking to be a part of a community that is positive, uplifting and mega doses of gratitude and soul. Our members come from all around the world with diverse backgrounds. Teachers, neighbors, small business owners, freelancers, consultants, at home moms, retired and perhaps combining a few of those listed. We also have a corporate membership program that is tailored to up-level the corporate woman and provide like minded community.
Is the membership refundable?
Our membership is non-refundable and non-transferable. You will get three emails leading up to your renewal charge. You can cancel your renewal prior to its renewal charge. Written notice may also be given 3 business days prior to the charge in order to cancel or you can access your dashboard and cancel renewal prior to charge. Please use the help button on this page or email us.
HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO A NEW MEMBERSHIP?
If you are on the 30-day trial or a yearly membership and you would like to upgrade, it only takes a few steps.
Here are the steps:
log in to your member account on femcity.com
click on "Your account" on the bottom right hand corner of the femcity.com site.
click on "Join new plan"
choose new plan from the dropdown... Founder’s Circle Membership and the $150 option in USA and CAD are options.
click enter and you are done!

Founder’s Circle Membership are for women wanting to teach, get featured as a FemCity Speaker, and connect with other women that are expanding businesses around the world, as well as gain PR opportunities and access to our FemCity Founder, Violette de Ayala.

I want to start my own FemCity community. What do I need to do?
We love that you want to start a beautiful FemCity community in your backyard. Through our Launch + Lead package, we provide you with all the materials, tools, training, resources and support you need to start your own FemCity. We love to create classes based on what FEMS request. Please email us hello@femcity.com and add “Proposed Class Topic” in your subject line.
I want to be a teacher in the Masterclass series. What do I need to do?
We love our teachers! Our featured teachers are a part of our Founder’s Circle Membership Program. Founder’s Circle Membership is our highest membership level with amazing features and benefits. Who owns FemCity?
Violette de Ayala is the Founder of FemCity. Violette is also a motivational speaker, small business consultant, international best selling author and mother of three. As a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, Violette is passionate about supporting women and their dreams in full positivity and gratitude along the way. Membership fees are utilized to run our robust FemCity organization and to expand programming and communities.
Where does the membership fee go?
FemCity has expenses, just like all businesses. Membership fees pay for business expenses such as technology, educational programming, administrative support, accounting, management, legal, merchant services, taxes, supplies, and marketing, just to name a few. Your support of FemCity makes it possible for us to be of service for women. It’s a win-win for all. Join FemCity and support a community that creates classes and platforms for women to flourish in life. Our goal is to help over 1 million women. Each member gets us closer to changing the world through empowering us all together.
How do I find if FemCity is in my neighborhood?

May I pay my membership with multiple credit cards?
Unfortunately, our payment check out system only allows fees to be paid by one credit card. We have intentionally set our membership fee at a reasonable and affordable price point for all budgets. Our monthly classes alone are valued at over $500 USD. But our annual membership is currently only $150 yr / $15.99 mo. What a deal considering our entire portfolio of benefits offered is valued at over $6,000 year.
in the past, femcity offered free community membership. where did that go?
We now offer a 30 Day Trial Membership, instead. That means, you can still sign up for free. While the trial membership is limited to 30 days, it allows you to experience the full benefits [minus the Facebook Members Group] and features of paid membership like never before. Take a few of our live classes, join a live chat, listen to some of our recorded classes, and get a feel of our community of positivity and gratitude. FemCity is an innovative community created for women by women that want all women to succeed. We know you will love it!
What types of membership do you offer?
We offer a 30 day free trial, monthly, and a one (1) year membership for $150 yr / $15.99 mo and a Founder’s Circle membership program [for those FEMS growing business around the world] for $1000/year. The one (1) year membership for $150 offers the ability to join a local FemCity, or a Virtual Community for those who don’t have a physical location near them. If you join one of our Canadian communities, you may purchase your membership plan in CAD.
What does a trial membership include?
Our 30 day free trial membership gives you access to all of our Member-only benefits. Take a few of our classes, listen to some classes and get a feel of our community of positivity and gratitude. You can visit as a one time guest a local FemCity with purchase of a ticket to their event, some are free. FemCity is an innovative community created for women by women that want all women to succeed. We know you will love it!
Why should I auto-renew?
Auto-renew locks you in at your current member price. Yay! So that means, you will continue to pay the same annual rate you paid at the time of your original purchase (even if the price goes up). You may log in to your membership account at any time and cancel future billing. Keep in mind, rates typically increase each year. Auto-renew also guarantees that you don’t lose a spot in your FemCity or access to our Member-only benefits by preventing any lapse in your membership.
How do I opt-out [CANCEL] of the auto-renew?
To cancel your automatic membership billing, or to edit your account, please do the following:
Log in at FemCity.com with email and password
Click "Your Account " in bottom right black box (desktop view)
Underneath "Billing" click "view or cancel plan."
A new window will pop up. Click "cancel subscription" to confirm.
Please note: if the option to cancel does not appear in your membership account per above, please email hello@femcity.com with your request to cancel. Your request must be received prior to any automatic billing charges.
How do I edit my membership account?
Log in to your account at FemCity.com, click on our Your Account on the lower right hand side and edit.
What happens if I move? Can I attend Femcity workshops in a different area?
If there is a FemCity community in your new city, you can totally take a spot there. You can your membership location to that city, reach out to the President (the link to email your new President is on our locations page) to introduce yourself and jump right in! You may want to start your own FemCity Community. Many of our Presidents have done this option and it helps to not only grow business but make new friends!

WHAT SIZE IMAGE DO I NEED TO UPLOAD IN THE MEMBERS ONLY DIRECTORY?
Please upload a 300 x 300 // Instagram square size image for your headshot. Please upload your headshot and not logos as FEMS do business with FEMS and connect on a human level.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A FEMCITY EVENT?
Our events and local gatherings are for members only but you can sign up for a free 30-day trial and be a guest. In order to access our events, you will need to create an account // log in and then head to the members only tab and our events to then search for your community and upcoming events. Ex: Search Boca Delray October for the October line up of local events. Here is a tutorial as well
BULLY AND HARASSMENT
We have a zero tolerance policy for content or conversation that is harmful, threatening, abusive, excessively violent, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or racially/ethnically hateful. Don't try to get around the block feature or otherwise attempt to communicate with someone who has asked you to stop. We kindly ask that you do not engage Members who behave inappropriately. Instead, send us an email about it right away and we would be happy to look further into the matter and take the appropriate actions. Membership is immediately revoked upon 2 Member Complaints regarding bullying and harassment.

BE KIND : Be kind and positive in posting and commenting. It’s simple and it feels really good to come from a place of love and light.
BE SUPPORTIVE: Please post your asks, your quest for help, advice and or guidance. It can be about your personal or work world. We are here to support one another and make new friends across the globe.
NO PROMOTIONAL OR SPAM: Salesy commenting is only allowed inside designated posts when prompted for you to share your promos, sales, social media links, surveys, programs, website, and the like….
