We caught up with Krysta to talk about 2020 pivots and what 2021 will bring!
What was the biggest pivot you took on this year?
The biggest pivot I took on this year was starting a new online side-hustle to generate extra income for my family in these unstable times.
Where did you find the support in taking on your pivot?
I received amazing support from my husband (who takes care of our home and kiddos when "Mama's Gotta Work!"), as well as from my business colleagues, and from my fellow Fems locally and across the community as well!
What advice would you share to women looking to pivot a big change in their life?
My advice for women looking to pivot a big change in their life is to map it out. Brainstorm everything you possibly can in regards to the change you're considering (pen to paper), then place the steps you need to take into a detailed timeline order. I believe it's also wise to meditate on big decisions, and always follow your intuition.
What are ways that your mindset also pivoted this year?
My mindset pivoted in many interesting ways this year . . . The way that sticks out the most for me is having a more clear mindset on how and where I spend my time and energy. Down time is just as important (if not more important) as "go-time", and I'm honoring "me-time", as well as time with my kiddos, more now than ever before.
What is the biggest lesson you learned in 2020?
The biggest lesson I learned in 2020 is that nothing is permanent. Really! Everything changes, good and bad, and this too shall pass.
What about 2021 excites you most?
Leaning into a new year always excites me! For 2021 I'm most excited about releasing a bunch of new projects (including some surprises!), and another book of course!

My final advice for those looking to create a fabulous 2020 is this: Every day is your "day one" - don't wait for "one day". Start today in some way, no matter how big or small, and you'll always be one step ahead of "someday"!
