What was the inspiration to start this business?

The power of community and conversation in social media led to this chapter of my career.

When you started your business, did you ever envision that you would be where you are now?

No I did not have a vision at the time. Pink Dreams Inc happened fluidly because we had so many inquiries through word of mouth. I had to develop an agency after a serendipitous meeting with a major network that solidified my role as a social media correspondent in Canada. Our focus remains on holistic principles and values.

Was there ever a time that things didn't fall into place, struggles, or challenges? What were they and how did you get passed it and grow from the experience?

There is a challenge when there is a shift in leadership among colleagues. I was dealt an unfortunate experience where I had to pause, reflect and regroup. I then had to develop my agency, step into my own power and develop additional skill sets so that I could stand on my own. It is the nature of being a growing entrepreneur.

What was the biggest lesson you learned while starting and growing this business?

People come in and out of your life but the key is to give thanks for the times that you had and learn from the teachable moments.

What would you tell a FEM that is struggling in her business and feel like it's too difficult?

Perseverance, consistency and faith are your magical combination. Trust yourself!

What continues to inspire you to keep on growing your business?

I am a constant leaner-seeker-adventurer. As an entrepreneur we have the gift of pinking outside the box, to create and innovate.

Final advice for those thinking of starting a business or looking to grow their current business?

Be aware but don't compare. Understand what the industry is up to but stay in your lane, keep your head down and don't get caught up in the side views.
