Business Coaching with Violette: SEO, Choosing Your Platforms + Building a Business Around a Full-Time Job
Monday, October 19, 2026 · Part 1 · 32 minutes

In this open Q&A coaching session, members brought their real business questions and Violette shared practical, mostly free strategies. The session covers getting found online in the age of AI search, picking the social platforms that actually work for you, time blocking while you build a business alongside a full-time job, and growing more than one business without confusing your brand.

What we covered

1. How do I attract more clients? Should I invest in SEO? (1:50)
A newly launched fashion stylist asked how to turn her online presence into clients. Violette’s three free, consistent moves:

  • Learn SEO. Watch Dr. Eva Wolf’s AI marketing classes in the FemCity Library. They cover website copy, keywords, an FAQ for your brand and the behind-the-scenes code that helps drive traffic.

  • Blog the questions your clients are asking. People increasingly search through ChatGPT, Claude and Google Gemini, not just Google, so write posts that answer the exact questions your ideal clients type in.

  • Make content people want to share. Post educational or inspiring content your audience will forward to their girlfriends. Pinterest tip images are a bonus.

2. Do I need to be on TikTok and LinkedIn? (8:50)
Spend your time on the platforms that bring you joy. If you force yourself onto one you don’t enjoy, people feel it. You don’t need to be everywhere: pick one or two and show up consistently. Members added two more ideas:

  • Use LinkedIn for authority and brand credibility.

  • Write blog posts on your own website with linked sources, then share them on LinkedIn.

Violette noted that a polished LinkedIn profile can help you show up in AI search. Global members: writing for the FemCity blog links back to you and builds your authority.

3. How do I juggle a full-time job and a new bakery without burning out? (16:35)

  • Time-block your week by theme: baking, social media, customer service, follow-up. Then protect those blocks.

  • Know your sell-out point. Only take on what you can deliver well, and let items sell out.

  • Hold a Friday “CEO check-in” each week. Look at your wins, sales, energy and what to improve, rather than waiting until December 31.

  • Hire as you grow, starting with the roles that move you forward. Violette’s first hire was a bookkeeper, then email marketing.

4. How do I balance multiple businesses without confusing my brand? (23:40)

  • Give each business its own days. For Violette, Monday to Wednesday is FemCity, Thursday is for recording and Friday is for editing and invoices.

  • Add one thing at a time. Get it running smoothly before you add the next.

  • Build in well-being little by little, like meditation, yoga and the gym, and keep weekends offline.

  • Start one business, make it strong, then launch the next. Women struggle when they start four things at once. When you introduce yourself, lead with your main business, then mention the rest.

  3. Choose your one or two “joy” platforms, and let the rest go.

  4. Map your available hours and create themed time blocks.
