Join FemCity Smith Mountain Lake for a cozy and creative evening at LAT Wellness Studio! Emely Hendl of Anchor Meadow Farm will guide us through making mini lard candles, sharing the benefits of using natural, high-quality ingredients in home and skincare products.
While we craft, Emely will introduce us to Anchor Meadow Farm and its offerings, including their lard-based apothecary line—featuring nourishing lotions and natural first-aid alternatives.
About Emely & Anchor Meadow Farm Emely, alongside her husband and daughter, own and operate Anchor Meadow Farm (Veteran Owned), a first-generation pasture-based farm in Virginia. Specializing in high-quality farrow-to-finish KuneKune pork, their mission is to provide ethically raised, sustainable pork products.
Beyond farming, they create small-batch, lard-based apothecary items crafted with simple, nourishing ingredients. Their farm is also expanding into agritourism and education, helping others explore sustainable farming, KuneKune pigs, and natural wellness.
