A fun 90-minute social and shop local series with a local storefront or business where friends of FemCity can pop in and learn from the local business about how to get their products into the store, shop local and socialize with other female business owners.
This month's shop local feature is Rustic Daisy's in Waterdown!
Our vision is to connect local female business owners with local businesses to learn more, connect and get social each month. Snacks and mocktails will be provided!
Doors will open at 7:00PM and at 7:30, Owner Cat McCrimmon will share a few words on how she works with her vendors inside the store and common best practices she's learned from working with independent businesses, what's selling well and what she's hearing on the ground floor of retail!

ABOUT RUSTIC DAISY'S - WATERDOWN
Building on her success as a vendor at local farmers markets, owner Cat McCrimmon opened Rustic Daisy’s in 2019 as a way to connect with her community and support local artists and Canadian makers.
With a central location in downtown Waterdown, Ontario, Rustic Daisy’s features unique handmade products with an inventory that is always changing. No two visits to the store are exactly the same, there is always some new treasure to find.
During the COVID19 pandemic when non-essential services were closed down, Cat continued to support her business by offering online shopping and personal deliveries, to help bring a little sunshine to her customers’ days. With the support of her loyal customers, she organized and delivered gift bags to care workers in the Waterdown area to show appreciation for their efforts and hard work during a very trying time!
