Tracey Ohlhausen // Social Selling Pro + Yoga Teacher
Meet Tracey Ohlhausen! Tracy has a knack for spotting opportunities and trends early and building companies/groups in these spaces. Tracy is currently working on her next passion, which is a start-up in the health and wellness space. She’s a yoga teacher, dog lover, and she’s continuing to clean up her life and home, so she can focus on the things that really matter.
We caught up with Tracy to talk about 2020 pivots and what 2021 will bring!
What was the biggest pivot you took on this year?
I have joined an exciting new start-up company out of Los Angeles that has a first- of-kind hormone-safe product line. I have purchased a tiny home on wheels to downsize and live on my family's farm in West Texas, where we will be exploring new ways to live and eat clean in this world. This year has been brutal and amazing all at the same time, and I am excited about the next decade to come.
Where did you find the support in taking on your pivot?
My family, friends, customers - so far the response has been overwhelmingly positive about my new ventures.
What advice would you share to women looking to pivot a big change in their life?
Meditate and pray on it. Stillness allows knowing. Then run the logistics by a couple of trusted friends/advisors. Decide - this is the most important part, as the commitment to your pivot is where the magic is - but also be flexible in the journey.
What are ways that your mindset also pivoted this year?
I took a look at all the beliefs and norms I have been taught since childhood and vetted them as an adult. Some survived, some didn't.
What is the biggest lesson you learned in 2020?
Freedom, love, service. These are the only things that matter to me and what I want to focus on in the next decade.
What about 2021 excites you most?
The opportunities! Chaos and destruction allow for so many new things to arrive. I am focusing on the daily allowing, of letting go of the old and seeing what shows up to fill the empty space.
Final advice for those looking to create a fabulous 2020?
Don't spend time focusing on getting back to your old life. It's gone, and you have a rare opportunity to up level, so spend your time thoughtfully focused on what you want the new life to be.
Where can FEMs connect with you and learn more?
