FemCity Is Coming to Gwinnett County, Georgia This October

This October, FemCity is launching its first chapter in Gwinnett County, Georgia — led by a woman who knows what it means to build something from the ground up.

Meet the President: Whitney Sulivan

Whitney Sulivan is a Lilburn-based construction business owner and mother of three. She's spent 13 years in the construction industry — first working for others, then building her own business — in a field where she's often been one of few women in the room.

That experience is exactly why she wanted to bring FemCity to Gwinnett County.

"It takes a village," Sulivan says. "I want to build a group of strong women here in Gwinnett County who empower each other, celebrate each other's wins, and help each other push through the hard days — because I know firsthand how hard it can be to find that kind of support."

As chapter president, Sulivan is focused on mentorship and consistent, in-person connection — creating a space where women in Gwinnett County can be honest about their challenges, not just their highlight reels. Members can expect regular networking events, mentorship opportunities, and a community built around genuine, long-term relationships rather than transactional connections.

Why FemCity Gwinnett County

FemCity Founder Violette de Ayala started FemCity over a decade ago as a small lunch group of 20 women in Miami. Today, it's a national community connecting women in business through networking, mentorship, and collaboration — and Gwinnett County is the latest place that community is putting down roots.
