Join Femcity Roanoke for our monthly Fem-Mingle! Each month we meet at a different venue for an evening social.

The Salem Fair is an annual agricultural fair held at the Salem Civic Center. Established in 1988, this will be the 37th year. It’s known as the largest fair in Virginia and offers a mix of family-friendly entertainment, including rides, food vendors, live music, and various acts like racing pigs, clowns, and magicians. The fair is free to enter and offers free parking.

5:00 -5:30 PM  Fems will meet at Attraction 6 – Danny Grant Cowboy Circus.
Located inside, where there is air-conditioning.

5:30 PM Fems will walk to the outdoor fair grounds where you can indulge in your favorite fair food.

5:45 PM Grab a seat at Attraction 3 – All American Pig Races which begins at 6pm.

6:30 Fem-mingling and more fair food at your leisure. Funnel cake anyone?

This is a free event. You’re welcome to bring a friend. Please register so we know who to look for at the fair and how many seats to try to reserve. Psssst.... You may want to wear comfortable shoes and attire since we’ll be at the fairgrounds. The pig race will have seats on the bleachers. Hand sanitizer and wet wipes will be provided. Bring your sunglasses. As info, some vendors may accept cash only. Let’s enjoy some outdoor fem-mingling with a taste of summer.
