Blissful Waters float center is a a place for community, offering float therapy. Being inside a quiet water filled tank allows the body and mind to fully relax and escape the noise of the outside world. This environment allows for deeper insight . A place where people gather and become better versions of themselves also finding yourbtrue self . Finding inner calm and ability to take those finding out into the world.
What was your initial inspiration that got you to where you are today?
I was a stressed Mom who found my career didn't fit my lifestyle. I was in need of more . I fell in love with floating and how it helped me mentally and physically . I was floating in Houston and Austin. There was not a float center near me . I wanted a place my community could relax and unplug dig deeper to find their desires as I had. Make positive decisions. When you started your most recent path, did you ever envision that you would be where you are now?
No . I just moved forward. Tebow plan was easy but as with most things. Nothing went as planned. I almost didn't get open due to contractors stealing my startup.money. Every day for a few years was the unknown. I just knew I couldn't quit.
Was there ever a time that things didn't fall into place, struggles or challenges? What were they and how did you get past it and grow from the experience?
In the beginning we had a tough go.with contractors. Trusted out first construction contractor qho.mangedbto con me out of around 100.000 , my second committed suicide after getting money from family to finish the job she took 60.000. I was able.to obtain a second small business loan . Pay off family and build my float center. Things were moving forward . Business was good and covid hit. I manged to grow during that time . Adding more services and an addiruinal.float room. I.disnt get wrapped up.in the energy of the world and instead focused on my little part of the world. Making Bliss Waters Float Center even better . When others limited hours we expanded . It's hard to clients to plan so we pushed "call us"" Book today. Unplug reset.
What was the biggest lesson you learned during this journey?
Patience and calmness don't make big decisions unless your heart and brain are connected . Treat people good when when you haven't been treated that way. Good prevails .
What would you tell a FEM that is struggling in her business and feeling like it's too difficult?
Go in ward. Remember her goal. Her why. Don't give up and to look around at her community accept that support .
What continues to inspire you to keep on growing your business?
Same as before. I have invested everything I have . Can't quit 0lus it's very rewarding listening to my clients story of growth using a float practice on their life Finding their truth or finding relief feim chronic pain. The people I have 6 employees whom are like family to.me . We provide a life changing service . Watching people connect and be happy is.the most rewarding thing a person can receive.
Final advice for those thinking of starting a business or looking to grow their current business?
Your business is plan is everything. Your budget add extra to it. Don't cut corners. Do it right . Don't listen to others advice. Listen to yourself . Find a tribe that is on their way to greatness . People with you can't do this avoid . You c do whatever you set your mind to. Make a plan . Stick to it never look up.
