What is FemCity Markham?
FemCity Markham is a women's networking group and social club for women in Markham and the Greater Toronto Area. Members gather locally and join our online programming every Monday.
How often does FemCity Markham meet?
We gather for monthly in-person events around Markham, and members join our online programming every Monday. Our chapter has been connecting women since March 2018.
Is FemCity Markham virtual or in-person?
Both. Local Members attend our Markham events and join our virtual programming every Monday at 1 PM and 7 PM ET, including goal setting, virtual networking, masterclasses and group business coaching with Violette de Ayala.
Are local events open to non-members?
Our chapter events are designed for members. Start a free 30-day Local Membership trial to attend. After your trial, membership continues at $19.99/month CAD, and you can cancel from your dashboard at least 72 hours before your trial ends.
Where will FemCity Markham events take place?
Events rotate around Markham at local cafes, breweries, farms and women-owned businesses, from Rouge River Brewing Company to Honey Hill Farm on Reesor Road. Each event listing will show the location.
Do I need to own a business to join?
No. FemCity welcomes entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, women in transition and anyone craving meaningful community.
