About Cynthia Edmunds…
”After 26 years of teaching in the Department of Health & Human Performance at Roanoke College, I decided to retire and embark on a new adventure. With my love of exercise throughout my life as a collegiate athlete, triathlete, Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Fitness Trainer and College Professor, I know and cherish the importance of movement throughout life for overall wellness. I wanted to offer my community a gentler form of movement so yoga was the answer. YogaSix seemed to be a great fit because it offers multi-sensory yoga classes that are energetic and empowering, and accessible to all levels. Each class is a wonderful mind-body experience that moves the total body and relaxes and de-stresses both your body and mind. Along with our classes, we are striving to build a strong community by inviting our new guests to become "part of the Y6 Family!"  We enjoy having fun class themes as well as hosting Member Appreciation Events, Educational Workshops, Bridal / Birthday Party Flows & Bubbly and promoting other local small businesses at our in-house vendor fairs. I am excited to welcome everyone in for a visit!

I was born in Roanoke. Married to Bart Edmunds and have three grown children, and one granddaughter and another on the way in November. Whether we are just hanging out at the house, going for a hike or traveling to far away places, I love spending time with my family most of all.”
