SANDI GLANDT // High Performance Productivity Coach

Meet Sandi Glandt, High Performance Productivity Coach. I hope you find inspiration in learning about her founding story!

Special thanks to Sandi for sharing her story with us!

Tell us in a few sentences how your brand helps others?

Too many women have been made to feel guilty about wanting to have a fulfilling family life, enjoy meaningful personal relationships, and achieve professional success. For too many decades women have been told they can’t have it all. Some will even point out how many women who do try to have it all wind up feeling burned out, stressed, and overwhelmed. By adopting the right mindset and using the right tools, any ambitious woman can learn how to get more done, become ultra-productive, and unlock their full potential. Women CAN have it all, and this book will show you how to make it happen! My business and brand shows women that it IS possible to have it all!

What was inspiration to start this business?

As a new mom (3 years ago) I found myself drowning in “mom guilt” and desperately needing to find my “new normal”. When my first son was born I found myself extremely overwhelmed, not knowing how to figure out the whole work/life balance thing. After coming up with my Magic Morning Guide along with my programs and coaching I now offer, I was not only able to help myself but countless other women (women with and without kids) figure out what it looks like to implement systems and strategies in their own life that would allow them to tap into maximizing their time and productivity so they can show up and be fulfilled in every area of their life.

When you started your business, did you ever envision that you would be where you are now?

When I initially started my business I knew that I was on a mission. I knew I wanted to help women who were tired of being stressed out, worn down and wanted to find a better way to maximize their time to feel good again in every area of life. Not letting life run them, but for women to be in control of their lives. I didn’t know exactly where it was going to take me but I knew that if I could help one other woman feel the happiness and fulfillment that I felt in implementing these systems then I would be able to make an impact on not just her life but everyone around her.

Was there ever a time that things didn't fall into place, struggles or challenges? What were they and how did you get passed it and grow from the experience?

Absolutely! I wouldn’t be human if this didn’t happen. As a wife, mother and woman in business this is more the norm than not. What I tell my clients is to plan as much as you can but expect the unexpected. Expect calls to cancel or the baby to not go down for a nap when you have a work call. There are challenges every day but it’s the way we show up and handle those situations that allows us to navigate our own destiny and stay in control. My biggest challenge was figuring out my new normal as a new mom. Once I realized my breakdown was really a breakthrough and I was going through that experience for a reason, I was able to take control. I was no longer a victim to my circumstances and was able to see the solution vs. the problems in front of me. Every challenge we are presented with we have a choice, we can play victim and stay stuck or seek solutions and gain control. The choice is always ours to make!

What was the biggest lesson you learned while starting and growing this business?

There is no such thing as failure. It’s either I succeed, or I learn and grow. Failure can cripple so many while others use it to learn and push forward. In both my personal and professional life, I am always looking for new ways to grow and learn. Once I started looking at “failure” differently it changed the way I operated in every area of my life. Entrepreneurship, running your own business, being a mom all means being resourceful and figuring things out. If you can do that, you become unstoppable!

What would you tell a FEM that is struggling in her business and feeling like it's too difficult?

There are only opportunities to solve problems and create solutions. Know that there will always be struggles at every different stage you reach. You get better at figuring things out and problem solving but if you always keep in mind that you will figure things out no matter what- you will become a problem solver vs. a problem seeker. Also, seeking out a mentor or coach is one of the fastest, most strategic things you can do to fast track your success. They can help shortcut your success by sharing with you what works/doesn’t work and help you navigate situations that you would otherwise not know on your own.

What continues to inspire you to keep on growing your business?

As I work with women through my one-on-one coaching, group coaching, courses and now with my book, "Slay Your Day" it inspires me when I hear the success stories of women who tell me that their lives are more fulfilled both personally and professionally because of what they learn through my programs. They are able to get off the hamster wheel of stress and tap into being more fulfilled as women in business, mothers, wives and taking care of themselves. The ripple effect this has on everyone around them and how it allows them to show up fuels me. I know what this has done for me and my family and every time I hear how this positively impacts their life I want to keep going and spread my mission and purpose even further!

Final advice for those thinking of starting a business or looking to grow their current business?

Don’t wait until you FEEL ready. You will never feel ready, you just need to take brave, bold action! The more you do, the more confidence you’ll have. Whether this means starting a new business, growing your current business, making a large investment in your business etc. Everything you want is on the other side of fear, so if it feels right but scary- you’re on the right path. You have to believe in yourself enough to make a difference and change the world. The one’s who believe and show up and do it anyway are the ones who actually make it happen. So stop overthinking things and just go for it! You’ll thank me later!
