We inspire people to be the best possible pet owners they can be.

We do this by providing quality products along with knowledgeable information that allows them to be advocates for their dogs.

What was the inspiration to start this business?

I opened my holistic pet boutique and supply store, Fetch RI, out of love for my rescue dog, Diego. The lack of stores that carried quality, nutritious, holistic options for dogs and cats was shocking.

So I decided to open my own business. But this was just the beginning of my journey--I went to school and became a Clinical Pet Nutritionist, began applying my decades of herbal knowledge to dogs and cats, and soon was noticed by thousands of pet owners as the person to see for "all things nutrition" for their pets. It was then that Bow Wow Labs approached me to lead their Nutrition and Wellness department and I became one of the twelve founding persons in that business.

When you started your business, did you ever envision that you would be where you are now?

When I first opened Fetch RI, I knew that great things were going to come, but I had no idea the extent.

Fetch RI became an award-winning pet store and now with Bow Wow Labs, we are on a trajectory to do really great, really big things for the pet/dog industry.

What was the biggest lesson you learned while starting and growing this business?

As the owner of Fetch RI, the biggest lesson I learned was to hire well and to trust the employees that I hired.

With Bow Wow Labs, I've learned to trust my teammates and co-Founders--we are a team and we are all in this together striving toward greatness!

What would you tell a FEM that is struggling in her business and feel like it's too difficult?

I would tell them to stop and breathe--take a moment to look at the situation from a different perspective.

Then, if you need it, ask for help and advice from someone. You can reach out to a fellow business owner, the SBA, or a mentor or friend that can help you think outside of the box.

What continues to inspire you to keep on growing your business?

I am passionate about what I do.

When you are lucky enough to live what you love, inspiration comes naturally.

Final advice for those thinking of starting a business or looking to grow their current business?

There is no time like the present.

Take a step every day towards your goals and trust in yourself.
